Sensus Access is a service subscribed to by the University to support independence, self-sufficiency, and agency amongst students with disability and Inclusion Technology.
Sensus Access is a one-stop self-service, and it allows Insubria students and university staff to automatically convert documents into a range of alternate media such as MP3, DAISY, e-books, and digital Braille. The service can remediate inaccessible documents and deliver them in more accessible and less tricky formats.
Sensus Access is very useful for foreign language students to facilitate learning. For this reason, Sensus Access includes support for many foreign languages.
Sensus Access offers six different categories of services, and it includes:
The service has restricted access and requires authentication from the user, who can use their University account.
Any information sent will be processed by SensusApS according to the rules contained in the information on the use of the service.
This service is provided solely for educational, educational, personal, and non-commercial use. Any other use is prohibited.
SensusAps processes the information submitted by the end user, converts it to an alternative format, and returns it to the end user in an accessible format. SensusApS strives to provide precise and reliable conversion results, but neither the University of Insubria nor SensusApS can guarantee the quality of these results.
SensusApS retains the processed information for 7 days, after which it proceeds to delete it from its servers.
We recommend that you do not use this service for sending and exchanging confidential or private information.
Neither the University of Insubria nor SensusApS will be held responsible for any information disclosed and/or used improperly.
The end user is solely responsible for the data transmitted to SensusApS for transformation into an accessible format.
The end user is also responsible for the custody and use of the processed files received from SensusAPS and, without prejudice to uses under art. 61bis, of law 633/1941 "Protection of copyright and other rights related to its exercise", the user is responsible for any activity (for example, distribution, diffusion, etc.) that constitutes a violation of the provisions which protect copyright and related rights.
Distribution of files received from SensusAps is prohibited.
The University of Insubria and SensusApS are not responsible for improper use of the service.
By clicking on the "ACCETTA E CONTINUA" button of the Insubria Sensus Access online Form, the following data will be recorded: User, Date, and these Terms of Use explicitly accepted.
Such data will be used in compliance with current legislation to allow access to the service and ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the service or its users about a legitimate interest of the owner. The data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
